Venus and Jupiter

These two are twinkling the night sky these last few nights.  Well it wasn’t in the stars for us to get the flight to Sydney today.  We did not fill out our transit visa form for New Zealand.  Even though we are not leaving the airport we should have one. We stay 2 hours in the airport on our way to Australia and we still need a visa for NZ. I am souring on the kiwis.

So we were able to change the flight to tomorrow with a slight change fee. We will only have one day in Sydney now but we will make the best of it.

So with more time in Tahiti we rented a car and went to see the “wave” at Teahupoo.  It is a world class sight for big wave surfers. On the way we passed one of Gaughin’s homes and many Tahitians out on a saturday. Did I tell you how they like to sit in the water and party.

Some scenes from the airport this morning.  It was a mess. One hour in line. The joys of travel.

Oh yeah that’s me in a nice barrel. The break is a ways but you could see some nicely shaped waves.
